The trailer of Huma Qureshi’s upcoming film Baby Do Die Do is out. The trailer features her in an unusual role of a deaf and mute hitwoman. Directed by Nachiket Samant, the thriller promises a mix of action, mystery and psychological drama.

The two-minute, 20-second trailer introduces Huma as Baby, a seemingly ordinary NGO worker who secretly leads a double life as an assassin. Despite being deaf and mute, Baby is shown navigating dangerous missions while being haunted by the voice of her deceased sister.

As a routine assignment spirals out of control, she finds herself confronting betrayals, long-buried trauma and shocking truths about her own identity.

Nothing groundbreaking for his filmography, Sikandar Kher effortlessly slips into the role of a local gangster and delivers a convincing performance in the trailer. The pulsating background score further elevates the tension, adding to the trailer's gritty and gripping atmosphere.

At several points, the trailer also draws parallels between Baby's younger and older selves, hinting at the emotional and psychological journey that shapes her character.

The film also marks the debut of Rachit Singh as Sodhi. Singh, who spent years giving acting lessons to celebrities, is now set to make his presence felt on the big screen. He is also rumoured to be dating Huma.

The film also marks a new milestone for Huma, who makes her debut as a producer alongside brother and actor Saqib Saleem under their banner, Saleem Siblings.

Sharing the trailer on social media on Monday, Huma wrote, “Iss safar mein thodi saavdhani barte! Do Die Do! #BabyDoDieDo in cinemas 3 July.”

Apart from Huma, the film also stars Sikandar Kher, Chunky Panday, Rachit Singh, Marudha Shekhawat, Vidya Malvade, Arun Kushwah and Himanshu Malik in key roles.

The film is slated to hit theatres on July 3.
