Actor Aamir Khan and his partner Gauri Spratt will marry at home on July 5 in a private ceremony. The couple have kept the guest list small, chosen the menu themselves and sought blessings for their new chapter.

Actor Aamir Khan's wedding to girlfriend Gauri Spratt on July 5 has been garnering curiosity from fans and industry alike. Wanting to keep the event extremely private, the Lagaan actor has decided not to have any grand function and has even chosen to invite only close industry colleagues. India Today has exclusive information that the wedding will only host around 100–150 people, including their families and friends.
A source shared that the couple has personally curated the guest list and also the menu for the lunch. The wedding celebration will be in the first half, when Aamir and Gauri will sign the registration under the Special Marriage Act. After that, they plan to have a hearty lunch with their close ones.
"Aamir and Gauri have picked their favourite food items for the menu and are personally looking into the preparation. And while the family, including their children, will be attending the wedding, they have also invited their close friends. Aamir's old friend, filmmaker Ashutosh Gowariker and Raj Kumar Santoshi, who has also helmed his production Batwara are expected to be at the wedding," the source added.
Speaking to the media during a promotional event for Pritam and Pedro on Thursday, the actor called it a special occasion. Aamir said the couple wanted to keep the ceremony small and sought everyone's blessings as they began a new chapter together.
"The wedding is taking place on July 5. It is a very intimate affair, being held right at home. It is a very special day for us. Both our families and a few close friends will be there; we are keeping it small and celebrating at home. We seek everyone's blessings and prayers – please bless us and pray that we remain happy and have a wonderful journey ahead," he said.
Aamir was previously married to Reena Dutta, with whom he has two children, Junaid and Ira. He later married filmmaker Kiran Rao, and the two share a son, Azad.
