Aamir greets media in 1st public appearance after wedding, wife Gauri Spratt skips
Aamir Khan greeted the media after marrying Gauri Spratt at his home. The appearance followed the release of the first official wedding photograph from their private ceremony.

Actor Aamir Khan stepped out to greet the media shortly after getting married to longtime partner Gauri Spratt on Sunday (July 5). While the actor smiled and acknowledged the paparazzi gathered outside his Mumbai residence following the intimate ceremony, Gauri chose to stay away from the cameras. Photos of Aamir greeting the media have since gone viral on social media.
The appearance came soon after the first official photograph from the couple's wedding was released, offering a glimpse into the private ceremony held at Aamir's Bandra home. Shared by the actor's official spokesperson, the family portrait captures the newlyweds signing their marriage register in the presence of their loved ones.
In the photograph, Gauri's son is seen standing between the couple, while Aamir's son Azad sits beside them. Also present is Aamir's mother, Zeenat Hussain, who is seen witnessing the ceremony. For the occasion, Aamir wore an ivory kurta-pyjama paired with a bronze brooch, while Gauri opted for a regal beige ensemble with statement jewellery and her hair styled in a braid.
The wedding ceremony concluded earlier in the day, with celebrations continuing at the actor's house.
Around 150 people were invited to the wedding, including Aamir's children Junaid Khan and Ira Khan, along with Ira's husband Nupur Shikhare. Businessman Mukesh Ambani, politician Raj Thackeray, filmmaker Ashutosh Gowariker, former cricketer Irfan Pathan, comedian Vir Das and actor Elli AvrRam were also among those who attended the celebrations.
Aamir and Gauri have known each other for nearly 25 years but reconnected over two years ago through the actor's cousin, Nuzhat Khan, in Bengaluru. Their friendship gradually turned into a relationship, and after dating for more than two years, the couple got married on July 5. Aamir had introduced Gauri to the public in March last year during the celebrations of his 60th birthday.
Originally from Bengaluru, Gauri has a son from her previous marriage and previously worked in the haircare industry. She is now based in Mumbai and is associated with Aamir Khan Productions.
