The Vaishno Devi shrine is one of India's most visited pilgrimage destinations, attracting millions of devotees every year. Akshay's visit comes as the shrine continues to witness a steady influx of pilgrims during the summer holiday season and ahead of the annual Amarnath Yatra.

On the work front, Akshay will next be seen in Welcome to the Jungle, directed by Ahmed Khan and produced by Firoz A. Nadiadwala, Rakesh Dang and Vedant Vikaas Baali.
