Alia Bhatt appeared visibly upset at the Bharat Pavilion in Cannes after fans and photographers crowded around her. The viral video has emerged as a major talking point from her latest festival outing.
Alia Bhatt’s outing at the ongoing Cannes Film Festival drew attention on Wednesday after a video captured her briefly losing her composure. The actor appeared irked as paparazzi and fans crowded too close during an event at the Bharat Pavilion.
Alia, who was part of the Indian delegation, was seen interacting with fans and posing for selfies initially. However, the situation soon became difficult to manage as more people gathered around her, restricting her movement.
In a video that has since gone viral, Alia appears visibly uncomfortable as the crowd closes in. At one point, she is heard saying, “Ho gaya abhi?” while trying to navigate through the group. Security personnel accompanying her are also heard urging people to maintain calm, saying, “Relax, relax.”

For the event, Alia wore a custom ivory silk saree-gown featuring a structured, corseted bodice and a plunging neckline. The viral clip appears to be from her second look of the day, when fans and photographers surrounded her closely for pictures.

She also attended the L’Oreal Paris gala dinner in a floral brocade corset ensemble paired with heirloom-inspired jewellery, and was seen at a screening of La Vie d’une Femme in a steel-blue gown.

She will also be seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love & War, alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal. The film, announced in January 2024, has been rescheduled and is now set to release on January 21, 2027.
