Arjun Kapoor's sister Anshula marries Rohan Thakkar in Mumbai
Influencer Anshula Kapoor married longtime boyfriend Rohan Thakkar in an intimate wedding ceremony in Mumbai. The couple tied the knot in the presence of close friends and family.
Actor Arjun Kapoor’s sister, social media influencer Anshula Kapoor, married her long-time boyfriend, Rohan Thakkar, in Mumbai on Monday. The 35-year-old took pheras in the presence of close friends and family at Taj Lands End. The wedding was held according to Hindu customs and rituals.
For the occasion, Anshula opted for an embroidered peach and coral lehenga. She paired it with a shimmering golden-beige dupatta and layered polki jewelry. Rohan complemented her perfectly in a textured champagne-gold sherwani. He topped off his look with a classic silk turban featuring a jeweled emerald brooch.
Sharing the pictures on her Instagram account, Anshula wrote, "Of all the people. Of all the places. Of all the timing. It was you. And somehow, through every twist, detour, and surprise, it is still you. My favourite conversation. My safest place. My easiest choice. Always you (sic)."
The Kapoor clan, including Anshula's uncle Anil Kapoor and step-sisters Janhvi, Khushi, among others, were seen at the wedding ceremony.
As per sources, Arjun Kapoor personally requested all media and paparazzi to not crowd the venue, as it was strictly a family affair. The reception will be held tomorrow, which will be attended by industry friends and colleagues also.
It followed days of pre-wedding celebrations, a glimpse of which Anshula had shared with fans on her social media account. The festivities included mehendi and a Maata ki chowki before the wedding.
Anshula and Rohan got engaged in July 2025. At the time, Anshula had shared pictures from the proposal and wrote about how their relationship began. “We started talking on a Tuesday at 1.15 am and ended up talking for hours. Three years later, in my favourite city, in front of the castle in Central Park, he proposed!” she had written.
She had also said that the proposal happened at exactly 1.15 am IST, the same time they first spoke, which made it feel “like magic (sic)”. The couple had met on a dating app in 2022. In her post, Anshula had recalled the timing and setting of the proposal as a moment that connected back to the beginning of their relationship.
Anshula had further written that while she never believed in fairytales, the proposal felt “intentional, thoughtful, real, us”. She added, “I said yes. Through ugly tears, shaky laughs, and the kind of happiness I can’t put into words (sic).” The note had offered a personal glimpse into the couple’s journey from their first conversation to their engagement.
