Ssunita Ahuja reveals Govinda uses a hair patch.

Ssunita Ahuja has opened up about husband Govinda's appearance, revealing that the actor now uses a hair patch. Recalling their early days together, Ssunita described the actor as exceptionally handsome. She also stressed that there should be no stigma around using hair patches, adding that it is a common practice in the entertainment industry.

In a conversation with Mashable India, Ssunita spoke about Govinda's appearance and how he has changed over the years.

“Even now he looks handsome, but at that time he had his original hair. Now he wears a patch," she said.

When the host laughed at her remark, Ssunita defended the use of hair patches and said there was nothing to be embarrassed about.

"What's there to hide? Many heroes do it. Men and women both use patches," she added.

In another interview on Abhishek Vyas's YouTube channel, Ssunita shared a personal perspective on her marriage. She said she admired Govinda more as a son than as a husband, explaining that he spent most of his life focused on providing for his family rather than enjoying life for himself.

"I will say it again. Govinda is a good son, a good brother. But as a husband, what I want... I love going to parties, for dinners, on holidays, but he got so indulged in providing for his family that he never enjoyed it. He is 60 but has never lived for himself (sic)."

Ssunita said it saddened her that despite being such a huge superstar, Govinda had rarely taken time to enjoy life for himself. She reiterated that she would prefer a son like him rather than a husband, adding that after four decades together, there was no point dwelling on regrets or imagining life apart.

Over the past year, Ssunita has also publicly accused Govinda of having an extramarital affair. Responding to the allegations recently, the actor dismissed them as part of a larger conspiracy against him.

Speaking to ANI, Govinda said he felt compelled to address the issue because remaining silent was creating a misleading perception about him.

"What I've been observing lately is that sometimes when we don't speak, we either appear weak or it seems like we are simply the problem. So today, I'm responding. I was told that people in my family might be unknowingly involved and they won't realise they are being used in the initial stages of a big conspiracy," he said.

Govinda and Ssunita have been married since 1987 and are parents to Tina and Yashvardhan. While Tina made her Bollywood debut with Second Hand Husband in 2015, Yashvardhan is gearing up for his acting debut.
