Actor Huma Qureshi ‘hard-launched’ rumoured boyfriend Rachit Singh with a warm Instagram post on Saturday. She shared his photographs and wrote at length about his journey, patience and years of work behind the scenes. In her note, Huma said the most admirable thing about Rachit was that he spent years helping other actors shine while quietly waiting for his own moment.

The post also drew a playful reply from Rachit, who thanked Huma for “hard-launching” him and for standing by him even on days when he struggled to believe in himself.

Their exchange comes after months of speculation around their relationship, with the two often being seen together at public events, and amid reports linking them to an engagement and possible wedding plans.

In her note, Huma wrote that when she first met Rachit, what stood out was not only his talent but also “his patience and his quiet grit”. She described him as “A small-town boy from Banaras” who came to Mumbai with the same dream many others bring, but stayed on even when success did not arrive quickly. “He stayed. He worked. He learned. He evolved,” the actor wrote.

She went on to say that for more than a decade, Rachit had helped other actors “find their truth”. According to Huma, he coached, mentored and trained performers who later became stars, while he continued working in rehearsal rooms, workshops and behind the camera. “And that’s what I admire most about him,” she wrote.

Huma ended the note by saying Rachit never stopped believing that his turn would come, and that his rise was built on “No shortcuts. No entitlement. Just hard work, consistency and faith in his craft.” She added, “This isn’t an overnight success story,” before welcoming him and writing, “Now the stage is yours, Siddhu.”

Rachit replied in the comments, writing, “Thank you, Humi, for hard-launching me. Hahaha.” He said the post made him realise how long he had been around, and thanked her for being his “truest supporter”.

He added that she noticed things that most people missed and had an “incredible way of putting them into words”. Referring to their bond and their work together, he wrote, “And for the Saleem siblings, there’s only one thing left to say: We’ll always Do Die Do together.”
