Daadi Ki Shaadi features Neetu Kapoor and also marks the acting debut of her daughter, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni. Riddhima recently said that before she faced the camera for the film, Ranbir advised her to stay honest, trust her instincts and live the character rather than try to perform it.

In a clip shared by celebrity paparazzi Viral Bhayani, Neetu can be seen teaching Ranbir the hook steps of the song Senti. The brief moment quickly picked up energy as the photographers cheered them on and chanted the film’s title.

Riddhima recently spoke about her first acting project on The Kapil Sharma Show. She said she had spoken to Ranbir before starting work on Daadi Ki Shaadi, and that his advice was simple: remain truthful in front of the camera, trust your instincts, and fully inhabit the character. She added that the guidance stayed with her during the process.

The makers have announced that Daadi Ki Shaadi will release on May 8. It is produced by Rtake Studios, BeingU Studios and Shimla Talkies Production, and is written and directed by Ashish R Mohan.
For Neetu, the film marks her next theatrical outing after Jug Jugg Jeeyo in 2022. For Riddhima, it marks her acting debut after appearing in Fabulous Lives vs Bollywood Wives in 2024. Kapil Sharma, who plays a pivotal role in the film, was last seen in Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2 in 2025.

The actor will next be seen as Lord Rama in Nitesh Tiwari's magnum opus Ramayana. The first part of the film is set to release on Diwali 2026.
