Pankaj Tripathi's brother attacked with axe in land dispute, accused arrested
Actor Pankaj Tripathi's brother was allegedly attacked with an axe in Bihar's Gopalganj district following a land dispute. Police have arrested neighbour Rajesh Sah in connection with the attack.

Actor Pankaj Tripathi's elder brother, Vijayendranath Tiwari, was allegedly attacked with an axe and seriously injured in Bihar's Gopalganj district. Police have arrested the accused in connection with the incident.
According to police, the attack took place on June 21 in Belsand Tiwari Tola under Madhopur Police Station limits following a dispute over land.
After receiving information about the incident, the Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) of Sadar-2 and the Madhopur Station House Officer reached the spot and launched an investigation.
The injured Vijayendranath Tiwari was initially taken to Gopalganj Sadar Hospital and later referred to Patna for advanced treatment. Doctors said his condition is currently stable and under control.
Considering the seriousness of the case, a Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) team was called to the scene to collect evidence. Police have recovered the axe allegedly used in the attack as well as blood-stained clothes worn by the accused.
Preliminary investigation revealed that the attack stemmed from an ongoing land dispute. Police said the accused, identified as Rajesh Sah, a neighbour of the victim, allegedly assaulted Tiwari with the axe.
Rajesh Sah has been arrested, and the process of sending him to judicial custody is underway. Further legal action is being taken in the case.
Sources close to Pankaj Tripathi shared that his brother is stable now, and recovering at Vedanta Hospital in Patna. The actor has already reached the city to be with his family. While the accused has been arrested, the matter will be presented in court soon.
