Hina Khan reacts to Pune fort murder: Could have spared him with one truth
Hina Khan reacted to the Ketan Agarwal case after police said his fiancee and her alleged lover plotted his death at Lohagad Fort.

Actor Hina Khan has reacted to the shocking Pune fort murder case, expressing her anguish over the incident in a post on social media.
Sharing a note on her Instagram Stories, Hina questioned why people choose violence instead of honesty.
"Aaj ke time mai sach sunna aur sach kehna itna mushkil ho gaya hai ki log kisi ki jaan lene ko bhi taiyaar hain ((These days, hearing the truth and speaking the truth have become so difficult that people are willing to take someone's life over it.)."
She added, "It seems it is easier to take someone's life than to accept the truth. You could have spared him, bus ek sach bolke (with one truth) and lived your life with any XYZ. Whyyyyy? Afsos (too bad) #ketanmurdercase," she wrote.
Hina's reaction comes days after police revealed that what initially appeared to be a trekking accident at Pune's Lohagad Fort was allegedly a planned murder.
From trekking accident to murder probe
According to investigators, 26-year-old businessman Ketan Agarwal died after falling nearly 400 feet into a gorge at the fort on June 18. His fiancee, Siya Goyal, had initially informed police that Ketan had accidentally slipped while taking photographs near the edge.
However, the case took a dramatic turn after police examined CCTV footage from the fort. Investigators spotted a man wearing a hoodie despite the 33-degree heat, following Ketan and Siya shortly before the incident. The man was later identified as 22-year-old Chetan Chaudhary.
The alleged conspiracy behind Ketan's death
According to police, Siya and Chetan chose not to end the engagement despite their relationship. During questioning, Chetan allegedly told investigators that Siya was unwilling to call off the marriage and elope because she feared it would bring shame to her family.
Police have also alleged that Siya had repeatedly persuaded Ketan to visit Lohagad Fort in the weeks leading up to his death. Investigators believe the murder plot was eventually carried out on June 18.
Both Siya and Chetan are currently in police custody. Authorities have stated that the investigation is ongoing and all aspects of the case are being examined.
