Kangana Ranaut's 'ewww' reaction after Vir Das rejects Revolver Rani kiss rumours
Actor-politician Kangana Ranaut reacted sharply after comedian Vir Das dismissed an old rumour about a kissing scene in their 2014 film Revolver Rani. Their posts pushed back against a resurfaced claim that both actors said was false.

Actor-politician Kangana Ranaut reacted with an "ewww" after comedian Vir Das rejected an old rumour linked to their 2014 film Revolver Rani. The claim resurfaced online after a senior journalist alleged that a kissing scene from the film left Vir injured, but both actors said the story was not true.
Responding to Vir Das's clarification on X, Kangana wrote, "Thanks Vir, but who is she? Ewww, seems like some weirdo using us to satisfy her demonic s** fantasies. I am eating your blood, and you are traumatised and crying even today after a decade. How random (sic)."
Earlier in the day, Vir called the allegation "pure fiction" in his post and described Kangana as "a complete professional" on set.
"Right. Just so we are clear. This story is pure fiction. Kangana was a complete professional, and I still maintain, a truly gifted artist. This is unfair slander to her. She went on to call me a terrorist a few years later for my comedy, but on set, no problems at all (sic)," he wrote.
In a video that is now going viral on social media, the journalist claimed that Kangana did not stop even after the director called 'cut' during the shoot, and said this caused an injury to Vir.
What Kangana said about the rumour earlier
In 2023, similar claims were circulating on social media that a kiss from Kangana had caused Vir Das’s lips to bleed.
Responding on her Instagram Story at the time, Kangana wrote, "After Hrithik Roshan, did I violate poor Vir Das’s honour? When did this happen? (sic)." She posted the message with laughing emojis.
About the film and recent work
Directed by Sai Kabir, Revolver Rani was a dark comedy-drama in which Kangana played Alka Singh, a politician and gangster. The film also featured Piyush Mishra, Zakir Hussain and Pankaj Saraswat in key roles. The film did not perform exceptionally well at the box office, but Kangana and Vir Das’s on-screen pairing drew attention.
More recently, Kangana Ranaut appeared in Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata, which was released in theatres on June 12. The film tells the story of the bravery and selflessness shown by the staff at Cama Hospital during the 26/11 terrorist attacks in Mumbai in 2008.
Vir Das, meanwhile, made his directorial debut with Happy Patel: Khatarnak Jasoos, in which he also plays the lead role of a secret agent.
