Actor Tom Holland has spoken about the possibility of Miles Morales entering the Marvel Cinematic Universe, saying he wants to bring the character into the franchise even though no official plans have been announced. His remarks come as Spider-Man: Brand New Day (2026) prepares to take Peter Parker's story forward after the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021).

In an interview with Hobby Consolas, Holland emphasised that introducing Miles Morales into the MCU remains one of his main aspirations, while also noting that there is still more work to be done before that can happen. His comments have renewed interest in the character's live-action future as the Spider-Man franchise continues to develop.

Holland said, "I have aspirations to bring Miles Morales into the universe. We've got a lot of work to do to bring that to life. But I feel really strongly about it."

Marvel Studios has not revealed when Miles Morales might appear in live action. Still, Holland's comments have reignited speculation about the character's future in the MCU. Spider-Man: Brand New Day is set to continue Peter Parker's narrative following Spider-Man: No Way Home, with Peter now living a solitary life in New York after choosing to erase himself from the memories of those closest to him.

While managing his responsibilities as a full-time superhero and his personal life, Peter begins to experience a mysterious physical change. This forces him to confront an unexpected personal challenge and a new threat in the city.

Miles Morales was introduced in 2011 by writer Brian Michael Bendis and artist Sara Pichelli, with his first appearance in Ultimate Comics Fallout #4. The character later gained wider popularity through Oscar-winning Spider-Verse animated films and Insomniac Games' Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day is the fourth standalone Spider-Man film in the MCU. Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, the film stars Holland as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, alongside Zendaya as Michelle "MJ" Jones, Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner/The Hulk, Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle/The Punisher, Jacob Batalon as Ned Leeds, Michael Mando as Mac Gargan/Scorpion, and Sadie Sink in an undisclosed role.

The film is scheduled for release in India on July 30, 2026, a day before its global theatrical release on July 31, 2026.
