During an interview with KPTV, Mahendra described Anirudh as “a very soft boy” before congratulating him on what he claimed was an upcoming wedding.
“I would like to take this moment to congratulate him. He is getting into a very big wedding. Based on what I’ve been told, it’s a sure thing. They are getting married,” Mahendra said.
Although he stopped short of revealing a wedding date or venue, Mahendra also praised Kavya, initially referring to her without naming her. Calling her “not an ordinary girl”, he said she was capable of managing a major IPL franchise and had inherited her father’s business acumen. He added that Anirudh and Kavya made “a good pair” and suggested they could “indulge in musical business” together.
