Raj Nidimoru's protective side took centre stage during his visit to the Tirumala temple with wife Samantha Ruth Prabhu. The couple was joined by the film's team at the Lord Balaji temple, where they drew a large crowd of devotees. In the widely shared video, Raj is seen keeping an arm around Samantha while members of their team help clear a path through the crowd as they exit the temple premises.

The candid moment quickly caught fans' attention online, particularly because Raj has largely kept his personal life away from the spotlight and is rarely seen displaying affection in public.

The video also comes shortly after the filmmaker playfully refused to say "I love you" to Samantha during a recent promotional event. Against that backdrop, his protective gesture at Tirumala has become a talking point among fans.

Samantha and Raj got married on December 1, 2025, in an intimate ceremony in Coimbatore. Samantha later shared glimpses from their wedding on Instagram. The two first worked together on The Family Man 2, where Samantha played the widely acclaimed role of Raji.
