Suriya gifts Rs 30 lakh-worth cars to Karuppu crew as film hits Rs 300 crore
Suriya has gifted Mahindra BE6 Batman edition cars to key Karuppu team members as the film continued its box office run. The gesture has added to the buzz around the film, which has collected Rs 300 crore worldwide in three weeks.

Suriya's recently released film Karuppu has continued its strong run at the box office and has collected Rs 300 crore worldwide in its third week. As the film's success grows, Suriya has gifted a new Mahindra BE6 Batman edition cars worth Rs 30 lakh each to composer Sai Abhyankkar, cinematographer GK Vishnu and editor Selvamani for their respective work on the action entertainer.
The actor has also gifted a car to music composer Sai Abhyankkar. Composer Sai Abhyankkar shared a photo of himself with his new car and wrote, "Love you @Suriya_offl sir (sic)," and also tagged Rajsekar Pandian and producer SR Prabhu.

Karuppu tells the story of a guardian deity who takes human form as an advocate to root out corruption in the judicial system. Suriya plays Karuppusamy, while Trisha Krishnan stars as Preethi. Balaji essays the antagonist, Baby Kannan. The film is directed by RJ Balaji and is based on a screenplay by Ashwin Ravichandran, Rahul Raj, TS Gopi Krishnan and Karan Aravind Kumar.
A day after the film's release, Suriya posted a video on X to thank viewers for their support and also acknowledged the cast and crew.
He wrote, “The love, name & fame we are getting from across the globe, goes to the entire cast & crew of #Karuppu who believed & worked hard. He said, “Whenever a good film is released, Rajinikanth watches it and personally congratulates the film crew either in person or over the phone. He called me to congratulate me.
