The makers of Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups have released the official video of Tabaahi, the first song from Yash’s upcoming film. The audio had been released earlier, and the video now gives viewers their first extended look at Yash and Kiara Advani together on screen, with the pair shown kissing and embracing across several locations, unable to stay away from each other.

Released with the film’s official music partner Zee Music Company, the song video centres on a romance between the two characters. Set against a large-scale visual backdrop, the track combines guitar-led arrangements with an orchestral score and introduces the world of Toxic through the pairing of Yash and Kiara Advani.

The track begins with a Rumi quote that reads, "Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing, There is a field. I'll meet you there." It also features glimpses of Nayanthara and Tara Sutaria. While Nayanthara seems to be playing the role of Yash's aide, Tara Sutaria seems to be playing the role of a mistress.

Ahead of the launch, the makers built interest through a social media exchange on July 7. The official Toxic handle posted, “What do you call a forbidden love that only exists in stolen time?”, while tagging Kiara Advani. Kiara replied with one word, “Tabaahi.” Soon after, Zee Music Company quoted her response and wrote, “Stay Tuned...”, before the music video was unveiled.

Here's the video:

Tabaahi has been composed and sung by Vishal Mishra, with the Hindi lyrics written by Raj Shekhar. The song has been released in Hindi, Kannada, Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam. The versions in other languages have been adapted by Yogaraj Bhat for Kannada, Ramajogayya Sastry for Telugu, Vignesh Shivan for Tamil and Rafeeq Ahammed for Malayalam.

Composer Vishal Mishra, in a statement, said, "Tabaahi isn't a love song in the conventional sense, it's love as wreckage, as surrender, as fire that doesn't ask permission. Toxic demanded music that could hold that intensity: epic and intimate at once. Yash Bhai brings a rare conviction to the screen that I tried to match note for note. Tabaahi, for me, was about chasing that raw, unfiltered pulse of love, the kind that consumes before it comforts.”

The film features Yash, Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Tara Sutaria, Rukmini Vasanth and Huma Qureshi. It has been written by Yash and Geetu Mohandas, and directed by Geetu Mohandas. Toxic has been shot in Kannada and English, and will also be released in dubbed versions in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and other languages.

Produced by KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations, Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups is scheduled to hit theatres on August 26.
