Video: Ram Charan, Janhvi Kapoor and Peddi cast discuss the film's journey

Ahead of Peddi's release, the film's actors Ram Charan, Janhvi Kapoor, Boman Irani and Divyenndu joined India Today for an exclusive conversation with Suyesha Savant. The discussion centred on the sports drama, the reasons they came on board the project, and their experience of working with director Buchi Babu Sana.

While promoting the film in the national capital, Ram Charan told us about the role, calling it early, rooted and different from his previous projects. He also shared the challenges he faced during the making of the film, including his wrist injury which he sustained during a wrestling scene. 

Divyenndu, who is making his Tollywood debut, spoke about the grandeur of Telugu cinema. Excited about his opening sequence in the film, he also discussed the challenges of the language barrier. 

Meanwhile, Janhvi and Boman also opened up about their respective experiences from the making of the film.  

Having received a U/A 16+ certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification, Peddi, which stars Ram Charan in the titular role, is set for release on June 4.
