Shocked beyond words: Singer Malini Awasthi on Ranveer Allahbadia's crass jokes

Folk singer Malini Awasthi shared her views on the ongoing controversy involving YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia. The YouTuber, who goes by the name Beerbiceps, made a derogatory joke on the show, that has led to backlash. The singer reacted to the same on India Today and said, "I am shocked beyond words. This happened when I was busy with my performance at Maha Kumbh when I checked my phone and I saw his name trending. It's very sad that these people are so impactful among the youth. Whatever he said cannot be considered as a casual remark,  no matter whether he said it on a wild comedy show."
