The Cockroach Janta Party has announced plans to intensify its agitation, calling for a nationwide protest. Rejecting discussions at official government offices, the group demanded that any talks be held at a neutral venue or at Jantar Mantar. The decision comes as activist Sonam Wangchuk's fast in support of students reached its twenty-sixth day. Meanwhile, the central government has expressed readiness to engage in talks with the demonstrators to resolve the standoff. The party previously led a march toward Parliament and is now seeking to expand the movement across the country.
