Rumours of a fresh rebellion within the Shiv Sena (UBT) have surfaced after five out of nine Lok Sabha MPs skipped a meeting called by Uddhav Thackeray at Matoshree. Sanjay Jadhav, Omraje Nimbalkar, and Bhausaheb Wakchaure were absent, while Sanjay Deshmukh and Nagesh Patil Ashtikar attended virtually. Speculation intensified after Sanjay Deshmukh met Union Minister Prataprao Jadhav from the Eknath Shinde faction. Senior journalist Rohit Chandrawarkar stated that six to seven Sena UBT MPs, excluding Arvind Sawant and Anil Desai, might defect to the Shinde camp before the party's Foundation Day on June 19, alongside 15 to 16 MLAs.
