Post-Mortem: 2 trekkers vanish in Uttarakhand, massive searches yield no answers

In this episode of Postmortem, we investigate two chilling disappearances that have turned Uttarakhand's scenic trekking trails into scenes of mystery and despair.

Babita Pandey, a 24-four-year-old MBA student, vanished during the Dayara Bugyal trek in Uttarkashi on May 29. Despite one of the largest search operations involving the NDRF, SDRF, ITBP, police, drones and helicopters, there is still no trace of her. Questions remain over the role of her companions, possible wildlife threats, and glaring lapses in tourist registration records.

The episode also examines the disappearance of 28-year-old software engineer Abhishek Chauhan on the Pindari Glacier route on May 29. While some of his belongings were recovered near the Pindar River, Abhishek remains missing.
