The skipper of England - Harry Brook says that they were a bit indecisive, but would have probably batted first. Adds that it was an excellent performance last time around, with the ball and in the field as well. Further mentions that they have a great balance in the side and ends by saying that every game is a big game and they are looking forward to the challenge.

The captain of India - When asked about the couple of overs that decided the previous game, Shreyas Iyer calls it a hiccup and believes such phases are beyond anyone's control at times. He stresses the importance of backing his bowlers and reveals he had a chat with Ravi Bishnoi. Adds that every player goes through difficult phases. Iyer says the boys are in high spirits heading into this clash. Looking at the surface, he feels it is a beautiful batting wicket, although the short boundary on one side is something his side will have to factor into their plans. Informs that they have made one change, with Prince Yadav coming into the side in place of Ravi Bishnoi.
