The Border Gavaskar Trophy was expected to be a hard-fought affair as India and Australia met for the first time in India since the enthralling series in 2017. Australia, the World No. 1 Test side, were expected to provide India with the sternest test at home and challenge their dominance at home. 

Contrary to expectations, Australia have surrendered the Border-Gavaskar Trophy in just 6 days of action, going down 2-0 in the 4-match series. It's hard to imagine an Australian side as meek and as timid as the current one, led by Pat Cummins.
