Launched This Week: Alienware 15, Sony Bravia 3II and 4 more gadgets to check out
A gaming laptop, a video-first mirrorless camera, and a projector that throws a 300-inch image, this week had a little something for almost every gadget enthusiast. Here's everything that grabbed headlines this week.

Another week-end, another session of India Today Tech "launched." This week offered plenty of action. Alienware stepped into more accessible territory with a new gaming laptop that does not cut corners where it matters, Canon showed up with a camera built almost entirely around video, and Epson brought a home theatre projector that can quite literally fill a wall. Dell also quietly unveiled two new everyday laptops that are worth keeping on your watchlist.
And while keeping the entertainment side of things in check, Sony expanded its Bravia lineup into more mainstream territory, while Ambrane did something genuinely clever with rechargeable batteries that you can top up using a USB-C cable.
A lot to catch up on, right? Let’s get into it.
Dell 14S and Dell 16S
Dell has been on a roll lately, launching new laptops across multiple segments. The laptops are powered by Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors with built-in AI acceleration and up to 50 TOPS NPU performance, while AMD Ryzen AI 400 Series options are also on the way. Dell says the new models are built as Copilot+ PCs with on-device AI features, and come with lightweight metal build, Dolby Atmos speakers, high refresh rate display options and OLED panel variants on select configurations. The company is also putting a big focus on battery life, claiming up to 24 hours of productivity on the Dell 14S and up to 26 hours of streaming on the Dell 16S.
The Dell 14S starts at $1,269.99 in the US, while the larger Dell 16S starts at $1,319.99. Dell says AMD Ryzen AI 400 Series variants of both laptops will become available later this month. The company has not yet announced India pricing or local availability details.

Sony BRAVIA 3II series
Not all work and gaming though. If you are looking for something with a really big screen, Sony had something interesting this week too. The company has expanded its Bravia TV lineup in India with the new Bravia 3II series, bringing some of its premium display tech to a more mainstream range. The new TVs come powered by Sony’s XR processor, which uses AI-based picture processing to improve colour, contrast and clarity in real time.
The lineup also supports XR Triluminos Pro, Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos and DTS:X, alongside 4K 120Hz refresh rate aimed at both movie watching and gaming. Sony is also leaning heavily into gaming features here, with HDMI 2.1, VRR, ALLM and PlayStation 5 optimisations included. The TVs run Google TV and will also get Google Gemini support through a future OTA update.
The Bravia 3II series will be available in multiple screen sizes starting with 55-inch and 65-inch variants, while larger 75-inch, 85-inch and even a 100-inch version are expected later this year. Pricing starts at Rs 99,990 for the 55-inch model and goes up to Rs 3,05,990 for the 85-inch version under Sony’s Best Buy pricing. Sony says the TVs will be available from May 2026 onwards through Sony retail stores, ShopatSC, other electronics retailers and e-commerce platforms in India.
Canon EOS R6V
Another biggie this week is for anyone looking to seriously upgrade their video setup. Canon has launched the new EOS R6V in India, a video-focused full-frame mirrorless camera aimed at filmmakers, creators and production professionals. The EOS R6V comes with a 32.5-megapixel full-frame sensor, 7K Open Gate recording, in-body stabilisation and a built-in cooling fan designed for longer video shoots. Canon is clearly targeting the new wave of hybrid creators here, with features like vertical shooting support, advanced autofocus, Canon Log 2/3 and up to 40fps continuous shooting also making the cut. The new 20-50mm lens adds motorised zoom controls and constant f/4 aperture support in a relatively compact setup built for handheld and gimbal shooting.
Canon has priced the EOS R6V at Rs 2,35,995, while the RF 20-50mm F4L IS USM lens costs Rs 1,42,995. Buyers looking for the complete setup can get the camera and lens kit together for Rs 3,55,995.

Ambrane Reneo battery series
Not into massive entertainment setups or expensive gadgets, but want something that quietly makes your everyday life a bit easier? Well, away from all the flashy launches this week, Ambrane entered the rechargeable battery segment with its new Reneo AA and AAA batteries. The company says these are India’s first AAA rechargeable batteries with direct Type-C charging support.
So, what’s different here? Instead of using a separate charging dock, the batteries can be plugged in using a regular USB Type-C cable, much like a smartphone. Ambrane says the batteries can deliver a quick 10-minute emergency charge and fully recharge in around one to two hours. The company is positioning them as a reusable alternative to disposable batteries for gadgets like TV remotes, gaming controllers, wireless mice, cameras and toys.
The new Reneo batteries are priced at Rs 499 for the AA pack and Rs 399 for the AAA variant. Ambrane says the batteries are now available through its official website, Amazon and leading retail stores across India.
