Just days after Amazon confirmed its Prime Day Sale, Flipkart has also announced its own big shopping event. The Flipkart Goat Sale is scheduled to begin on July 4, and the company has already revealed teaser offers on several premium smartphones. From Apple's latest iPhone 17 series to Samsung's Galaxy S25 lineup, Realme, Oppo and Nothing phones, buyers can expect some eye-catching discounts. While many of the prices look attractive, Flipkart has not yet clarified whether these effective prices include bank offers, exchange bonuses or other conditions.

According to Flipkart's latest teaser page, Plus and Black members will get 24-hour early access to the sale before it opens for everyone else. The platform has also confirmed an instant 10 percent discount on eligible purchases made using ICICI Bank, Bank of Baroda and HSBC cards.

One of the biggest announced deals is on the iPhone 17 Pro. Flipkart says Apple's flagship phone will be available at an effective price of Rs 1,12,900, compared to its launch price of Rs 1,34,999. This brings the effective discount to around Rs 22,000. However, the company has not explained whether buyers will need to use bank offers or exchange benefits to reach this final price.

The standard iPhone 17 is also set to receive a price cut, with an effective sale price of Rs 70,900. Buyers looking at the older iPhone 16 Plus will also find it available for an effective price of Rs 73,900 during the sale.

Samsung's Galaxy S25 is another phone expected to receive a major price reduction. Flipkart's teaser claims the 256GB model will effectively cost Rs 56,999 instead of its launch price of Rs 80,999, translating to a discount of around Rs 24,000. Similar to the iPhone deal, it remains unclear whether this price is made up of a flat discount, bank card benefits, exchange offers or a combination of all three. The Galaxy S25 Plus has also been listed with an effective sale price of Rs 76,999.

Another interesting offer is on the recently launched Oppo Find X9 Ultra. Flipkart says the flagship phone will effectively cost Rs 1,53,000, compared to its launch price of Rs 1,69,999. Since the phone arrived in India only recently, such a large discount appears surprising. It is possible that the final effective price includes exchange bonuses, bank discounts and other promotional benefits, but buyers will have to wait until the sale begins for complete details.

The Realme GT 7 is also among the highlighted deals. The smartphone, which launched in India at Rs 39,999, is teased to be available for an effective price of Rs 27,999. While the price looks attractive, buyers should remember that Flipkart has often offered its biggest discounts only for a limited period, especially during the first few hours or first day of a sale, after which prices tend to increase.

Nothing smartphones are also part of the upcoming event. Flipkart says the Nothing Phone 4a will effectively cost Rs 32,999, while the Nothing Phone 4a Pro will be available for an effective price of Rs 41,999.

Amazon Prime Day will also go live soon

Meanwhile, Amazon's Prime Day Sale is also scheduled to begin on July 4. Amazon has announced discounts of up to 40 percent on select smartphones and says customers can expect offers across several premium devices.

Among the biggest announced deals is the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, which Amazon says will be available for Rs 84,999. The company is promoting this as the "lowest price of the year" and, at least for now, has not mentioned any exchange requirement or hidden conditions. Whether additional bank discounts will further reduce the price will become clear once the sale goes live.

Apple fans shopping on Amazon will also get discounts on the iPhone 17 Pro. However, the company has not yet disclosed the effective sale price or the complete details of the offer.

Other smartphones confirmed for Amazon's sale include the Samsung Galaxy M47, which will effectively cost Rs 22,999 after applying a coupon. The iQOO 15 will effectively be available for Rs 71,999 with a coupon, which is Rs 5,000 lower than its revised retail price of Rs 76,999.

OnePlus buyers will also have multiple options. Amazon says the OnePlus Nord CE 6 Lite will effectively cost Rs 23,999, while the OnePlus 13 will be available for Rs 49,999 with applicable bank offers. The company has also confirmed discounts on the OnePlus Nord Buds 4 Pro, although the exact pricing is yet to be revealed.

The Prime Day Sale will also include offers beyond smartphones. Amazon has announced discounts of up to 80 percent on laptops, tablets, headphones and other electronic products. One of the highlighted tablet deals is the OnePlus Pad 2, which will be available for Rs 31,999 instead of its launch price of Rs 39,999. Amazon says this particular deal is already live as part of its Prime Day Early Sale.

For TV buyers, Amazon is teasing discounts of up to 65 percent. According to the company, a 65-inch Sony TV will be available for an effective price of under Rs 75,000, while a 55-inch Samsung Mini LED TV will be offered for under Rs 40,000.

With both Amazon and Flipkart kicking off their sales on July 4, buyers will have plenty of options to compare before making a purchase. However, since many of the announced prices are listed as "effective prices," it would be wise to check the final offer details carefully once the sales go live, as some discounts may depend on bank cards, exchange offers or limited-time promotional deals.
