Nothing Phone 4b launched in India, price starts at Rs 34,999
After days of teasers and hints, the Nothing Phone 4b is finally here. With the signature transparent design, Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chip and the biggest battery on a Nothing phone yet, the 4b aims to make the Nothing experience more accessible with a starting price of Rs 34,999.

The Nothing Phone 4b is finally here. After weeks of teasers, Nothing has officially launched the Phone 4b in India, marking the debut of its all-new B series. According to the company, the new lineup is designed to make the signature Nothing experience more accessible without compromising on the features.
While the A series remains the company's premium offering below its flagship phones, the B series marks Nothing's attempt to create a more accessible entry point into its ecosystem at a time when rising component and RAM costs have pushed smartphone prices upwards across the industry.
Starting at Rs 34,999, the new Nothing Phone 4b comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chipset, the redesigned Glyph Bar interface, a 6,000mAh battery for the Indian market, and Nothing OS 4.1 based on Android 16 with AI-powered features.
Let's take a closer look at what Nothing 4b brings on the table.
Nothing Phone 4b: Price and availability
The Nothing Phone 4b starts at Rs 34,999 in India for the base 8GB/128GB variant. The 8GB/256GB model will set you back by Rs 38,999. But people will be able to purchase the Phone 4b for Rs 29,999 for the base variant and Rs 34,699 for the 256GB model with bank offers. The company has also launched an RCB edition (pictured below) of the phone. This version has been launched in limited quantities and hence, for now, will be available only through an offline pop-up event that Nothing has planned for the device at its Bengaluru flagship store.
Nothing Phone 4b: Specifications and features
First things first, the design. If you've seen a Nothing phone before, the Phone 4b will look instantly familiar. It sticks to the company’s translucent back cover design while adding a few new touches of its own. The phone uses a smooth polycarbonate unibody with a redesigned clear camera module.
The phone also introduces the new Glyph Bar, replacing the traditional Glyph Interface with a compact grid of 45 mini LEDs that Nothing says are up to 40 per cent brighter than before. The Glyph Bar can be used for timers, delivery tracking, charging progress, camera countdowns and custom notification alerts.
Under the hood, the Phone 4b is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 processor. To keep heat in check during gaming sessions, the phone also features a large vapour chamber cooling system.
On the front, the Phone 4b sports a 6.77-inch Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate and an in-display fingerprint scanner. Nothing says the display is designed to deliver smoother scrolling, improved responsiveness and vibrant visuals, whether you're gaming or simply browsing through apps.
Another standout feature is the battery. The India variant of the Phone 4b packs a 6000mAh battery, making it the largest battery ever fitted inside a Nothing smartphone. The company claims it can deliver up to 18 hours of mixed usage while retaining 90 per cent of its battery health after 1,200 charging cycles. The phone also supports fast charging, with Nothing claiming it can charge from 1 to 50 per cent in 27 minutes and reach a full charge in around 80 minutes.
For photography, the Phone 4b features a 50-megapixel Samsung main camera with optical and electronic image stabilisation, paired with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera. The camera system uses Nothing's TrueLens Engine 4 and supports 4K video recording at 30fps. It also includes Dual Video Recording, allowing users to record using the front and rear cameras simultaneously.
The Phone 4b ships with Nothing OS 4.1 based on Android 16. It includes the company's AI-powered tools, such as Essential Voice, Essential Space and Essential Search, alongside features like Live Updates and the new Soundscape widget. Nothing has also promised three Android OS upgrades and six years of security updates for the device.
On paper, the Nothing Phone 4b looks like a good package, especially for buyers shopping in the Rs 35,000 segment. It brings together a distinctive design, a sizeable battery, capable hardware and Nothing's clean software experience at a relatively competitive price. But how it performs in day-to-day use is something we'll tell you in our full review. Stay tuned to India Today Tech.
