OnePlus Turbo 6X and 6X Pro launched, here is everything to know about them
OnePlus has launched the Turbo 6X and Turbo 6X Pro in China. The devices come with fast 144Hz displays and Dimensity SUPER chipsets. Global launch, including India remains remains a mystery at the moment.

OnePlus launched two new smartphones, the OnePlus Turbo 6X and OnePlus 6X Pro, in China, expanding its Turbo lineup. The latest additions to the Turbo series bring a strong focus on battery life, high-refresh-rate displays, and improved durability. While the standard Turbo 6X targets users looking for a large battery and expandable storage at a relatively affordable price, the Turbo 6X Pro steps things up with a brighter AMOLED display, a bigger battery, enhanced durability ratings, and additional AI-powered features.
As of now, there is no word on whether the two devices will make their way to global markets. However, considering previous Turbo series phones eventually arrived in India under the Nord branding, it remains a possibility.
OnePlus Turbo 6X and Turbo 6X Pro specs and features
The OnePlus Turbo 6X features a 6.72-inch Full HD+ LCD display with a 144Hz refresh rate and up to 1,000 nits peak brightness. The panel also supports hardware-level DC dimming and can be used with wet hands, oily fingers, or while wearing gloves. In comparison, the OnePlus Turbo 6X Pro comes with a larger and more premium 6.78-inch 1.5K Samsung AMOLED display that also supports a 144Hz refresh rate but offers a significantly higher peak brightness of 6,500 nits. The Pro model further benefits from full-brightness DC dimming and eye-protection technologies co-developed with display experts.
Under the hood, the OnePlus Turbo 6X is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7360 SUPER chipset built on TSMC's 4nm process. The Turbo 6X Pro steps up to the more powerful MediaTek Dimensity 7400 SUPER processor, also based on a 4nm architecture, and is paired with a 360-degree surround antenna system for improved connectivity. Both smartphones run ColorOS 16 out of the box, while OnePlus claims the Pro variant is designed to deliver up to six years of smooth performance.
For photography, the Turbo 6X is equipped with a 50-megapixel primary camera alongside a 2-megapixel secondary sensor, while selfies are handled by an 8-megapixel front camera. The Turbo 6X Pro, on the other hand, packs a more capable camera setup featuring a 50-megapixel primary sensor with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera. It also gets a higher-resolution 16-megapixel front-facing camera and supports features such as Live Photos, Soft Light Portrait mode, and vintage film filters.
Battery life is another major highlight of both devices. The OnePlus Turbo 6X houses a large 7,000mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging and wired reverse charging. Meanwhile, the Turbo 6X Pro pushes things further with a massive 8,000mAh battery and faster 80W charging support. According to OnePlus, the Pro model can deliver up to 29 hours of short-video playback, 17 hours of navigation, or 8 hours of continuous gaming on a single charge.
In terms of durability and security, the Turbo 6X comes with an IP64 rating and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The Turbo 6X Pro offers significantly stronger protection with IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings, along with multiple military-grade durability certifications. It also features an in-display fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication.
