Nothing is gearing up to launch its upcoming smartphone – Nothing Phone 4b – in India on July 7, expanding the Phone 4 lineup. Ahead of its launch, the company has officially revealed its design online. The device appears to feature the company’s signature transparent design language along with the Glyph Bar LED lights.
Earlier, through Nothing’s co-founder, Akis Evangelidis post on X, we knew that the Phone 4b would sit below the Phone 4a series. And leaks also suggested that the smartphone could be the successor to the CMF Phone 2 Pro. In other words, if you want a Nothing smartphone without breaking the bank, the Phone 4b could be your go-to option.
Nothing Phone 4b design
The London-based company revealed the Nothing Phone 4b in a blue colour option. As usual, the upcoming smartphone also has a transparent rear panel, revealing internal components beneath the surface, including the screws texture and industrial accents. It will have a unibody construction similar to the Phone 4a Pro.
The camera area houses a dual cut-out camera setup arranged vertically, while the right side of the panel features a vertical Glyph Bar interface similar to Phone 4a. The lighting element is expected to deliver visual notifications, indicate charging status, and support app-specific alerts.
An LED flash and additional sensors are placed alongside the camera setup, while the flat frame seamlessly transitions into the curved rear edges for a smoother look.
What else do we know about Nothing Phone 4b
The Nothing Phone 4b has allegedly appeared on Geekbench under the model number A009P. The listing points to a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chipset built on a 4nm architecture, with the device scoring 1,088 points in single-core and 3,155 points in multi-core. The Geekbench listing also suggests 8GB of RAM and Android 16 out of the box.
On the battery front, tipster Yogesh Brar has indicated that the Phone 4b will carry the same battery size as other models in the lineup. Given that the Phone 4a packs a 5,400mAh battery, that gives us a rough idea of what to expect. And in true Nothing fashion, do not count on a charger being included in the box.
