Manisha Dubey, a brand strategist based in Bengaluru, shared the experience in a LinkedIn post, revealing that her new employer, Bambrew, had handed her a compostable garbage bag as part of her onboarding kit.
"My new office gave me a garbage bag as a welcome kit. I am not even kidding," she wrote.
Unlike the usual gift vouchers, coffee mugs or wellness coupons that companies often hand out to new hires, Dubey said she was greeted by a simple garbage bag sitting on her desk. Intrigued by the unexpected gift, she even snapped a picture of it "as evidence."
