Just when she thought the story had ended on a positive note, another surprise awaited her.
A complete stranger who had witnessed the accident had also left a handwritten message. Unable to ignore what had happened, the passerby found a piece of cardboard and a marker, wrote down the details of the incident and even offered to be a witness if required. The gesture ensured that Gupte would have independent proof of what had happened and would not be left to deal with the repair costs alone.
