She began by stressing the importance of taking leave and making full use of employee benefits.

Employees, she said, should not hesitate to use all the paid leaves provided by their company, especially if those leaves are neither carried forward nor converted into cash.

“If your company has given you 24 leaves, take it,” she said, adding that employees should also make use of floater leaves instead of letting them go unused.

She also advised employees to become familiar with common workplace jargon, describing it as an essential part of navigating corporate culture.

She suggested that instead of directly saying they have no idea about a task’s status, employees can use phrases such as “WIP (work in progress)” or say, “I will check and get back to you.”

Understanding such corporate language can help employees communicate more confidently and professionally in workplace settings.

She also encouraged workers to remain mindful of how they present themselves at work.

“Never look free. Everybody is always looking at you,” she said, suggesting that perception can often shape workplace dynamics.

Lastly, she spoke about the emotional challenges of corporate life, explaining that criticism and reprimands are often unavoidable.

“People will always reprimand you. But you have to develop thick skin,” she said.
