Pizza delivery turns fatal as Hyderabad man is shot multiple times in US
Anshul Kuncha, 28, was working in an MNC in North Philadelphia, and would deliver pizzas on the weekends as a part-time job. He had delivered an order shortly before he was fired upon.

A young man from India was shot dead, allegedly while he was delivering pizzas late in the night in US's Philadelphia. The victim has been identified as 28-year-old Anshul Kuncha, who hailed from Hyderabad.
His family has claimed that the killing resulted from a "trap" laid for him. "We were informed that he (Anshul) was shot in the head three times and left on the road," his sister, Tanvi, said.
She said that nothing was stolen from her brother's possession, adding that he was asked to deliver pizza in an abandoned area.
"It was a trap. It was to kill him. I don't know what they gained out of it or what intentions they had. They took my brother and killed him," Tanvi was quoted as saying by news agency PTI.
Anshul was working for a multinational company (MNC)) in North Philadelphia, and would deliver pizzas on the weekends as a part-time job, she said. He had delivered an order shortly before he was fired upon. Family members said he was shot multiple times during the attack.
The circumstances surrounding the shooting, including the number of assailants, reportedly remain unclear, and authorities in the US are investigating the fatal attack.
INDIAN CONSULATE CONFIRMS DEATH
The Indian Consulate in New York confirmed Anshul's death, saying it was in touch with the bereaved family.
"We are deeply saddened by the untimely demise of Mr. Anshul Kuncha, an Indian national in Philadelphia, PA," the diplomatic mission said in a post on X.
"Our thoughts and heartfelt condolences to his family during this difficult time. The Consulate is in touch with Anushul's family and is extending all possible assistance (sic)," it added.
Tanvi sought justice and appealed to the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) to bring back her brother's body at the earliest.
"We have been informed the body would be handed over on Monday. Just give us our brother back. That's all I want. And I do want justice. We don't have any suspicion...it's a decoy. As per US media reports, it seems there were two gunmen wearing black masks with backpacks," she further said.
