It's no novelty that US President Donald Trump is not a fan of journalists. He has been locked in a bitter fight with them since taking the office. But a certain foreign reporter may have just got into his good books, so much so that the 80-year-old has pitched for him to be in a movie.

During his meeting with UAE President Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan at the G7 Summit in France, Trump got distracted by the reporter's looks. The US President said that the journalist has a "nice way about him" as opposed to American reporters, who he called "mean".

"What a nice-looking person. Is he from your country?" Trump asked Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who replied, "Yes, absolutely." "He has such a nice way about him. My people are so mean. Handsome guy. Could put him in a movie right now," the US President said as the room burst into laughter.

The reporter is Majed AlFarsi, a Sky News Arabia journalist. He shared the moment on his Instagram account, where he has 124,000 followers. The video was shared 16 hours ago, and it has received 42.8K likes at the time of writing this story.

The US President also didn't hold back in his praise for the UAE President, calling him a "warrior" and "courageous". "I just want to say His Highness is a warrior. He was in there fighting, and he does what has to be done, and he’s known for that. He’s a courageous man, and he has a fantastic country," Trump said, according to Arabian Business.
