The Arab League has condemned Israel's raid on the UNRWA-run Qalandiya Training Centre in occupied East Jerusalem, calling it a "flagrant violation" of UN facilities and their privileges and immunities.

In a statement, the bloc said it was the second raid on the centre in less than a month. Assistant Secretary-General Faed Mustafa described the operation as "part of a systematic policy aimed at undermining the agency's work and depriving Palestinian refugees of their right to education and fundamental services."

Iraqi Prime Minister Ali Faleh Al-Zaidi has ordered an investigation into Saudi Arabia's claims that drones targeting the kingdom were launched from Iraqi territory, according to armed forces spokesman Sabah Al-Numan.

The Iraqi government said it remains committed to preventing its territory from being used to launch attacks on neighbouring countries and warned that legal action would be taken against anyone found responsible once the investigation is complete. It also described Iraq's ties with Saudi Arabia as "deep-rooted and fraternal", pledging to protect the country's sovereignty while safeguarding regional security and stability.

Oman has strongly condemned the drone attacks targeting Saudi Arabia, reaffirming its full support for the kingdom's sovereignty, security and territorial integrity. According to the Oman News Agency, Muscat denounced the unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) attacks and expressed "full solidarity with Saudi Arabia in all measures taken to protect its sovereignty, security and territorial integrity."

US President Donald Trump dismissed Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's public opposition to a potential US sale of F-35 fighter jets to Turkey, saying, "Nobody tells me what we should be selling."

Speaking aboard Air Force One, Trump acknowledged Turkey's strained ties with Israel but said Ankara had "been great for me." While Trump indicated earlier this month that he would approve the sale, the State Department informed Congress last week that Turkey does not currently qualify to purchase the aircraft.

Trump also said he and Netanyahu were largely aligned on Iran despite some differences. "We have a little difference but [are] pretty close," he said, ahead of the Israeli leader's expected meeting with the US president.

US President Donald Trump said he will ask Russian President Vladimir Putin whether Russian satellites are helping Iran direct strikes in the Middle East, following claims by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

Speaking to reporters aboard Air Force One, Trump said, "I'll ask Putin about it. We'll find out." Zelenskyy has claimed Ukraine recorded Russian satellite surveillance of Gulf states and US military facilities in the region.

US President Donald Trump said the United States is "not involved" in the ongoing fighting between Yemen's Houthis and Saudi Arabia, but indicated Washington could intervene if the situation worsens. Speaking to reporters, Trump said the US had been "dealing with Saudi Arabia" but was "not involved with that" at present. "But, we may, you know, if there's a problem," he added.

His remarks came as the Houthis and Saudi Arabia exchanged strikes in recent days after the Iran-backed group announced a naval blockade on Saudi ports. Asked about Saudi Arabia joining the Abraham Accords, Trump said the issue had not been discussed, despite previously stating that a US civil nuclear deal with the kingdom would depend on Riyadh normalising ties with Israel.

US President Donald Trump said the United States has "a lot of ammunition" despite accusing the previous Biden administration of depleting weapons stockpiles by supplying arms to Ukraine.

Speaking about US missile interceptor inventories, Trump said Washington possessed "a lot of ammunition, different types" and added that Patriot missile systems were continuing to be produced. "The Patriots, in particular, are being built," he said.

The US military said it has redirected 17 commercial vessels transiting the Strait of Hormuz, while disabling two ships and boarding two others to enforce Washington's naval blockade on Iran.

In a statement, US Central Command (CENTCOM) said the measures were taken to ensure compliance with the blockade. The Strait of Hormuz is one of the world's most critical maritime chokepoints, carrying about 20% of global oil supplies during peacetime.

US President Donald Trump has said Washington is engaged in "very deep talks" with Iran but warned that the United States would resume "very strong military action" if diplomacy fails. Speaking to Axios, Trump said he paused attacks on Friday at the request of countries mediating the conflict. "All of the people that deal with Iran asked me: 'Don't fire,'" he said.

Asked how long he was prepared to give diplomacy, Trump replied: "Not much time. Either it goes fast or not at all."

Yemen's Iran-aligned Houthis said they launched drone attacks targeting sensitive crude oil supply and transport infrastructure linking eastern Saudi Arabia to the Red Sea city of Yanbu.

Houthi military spokesperson Yahya Saree said the operation was carried out in response to what he described as repeated Saudi drone incursions into Yemeni airspace. The claim comes after Saudi Arabia said it intercepted multiple drones launched from Iraq that were targeting oil facilities in the kingdom's eastern region.

Saudi Arabia said it intercepted "a number of drones" launched from Iraq over the past few hours and warned it reserves the right to respond to the attack. Defence Ministry spokesman Major-General Turki Al-Maliki alleged the drones were launched by "Iranian-backed terrorist militias" operating from Iraqi territory.

"These terrorist attempts were launched from Iraqi territory and carried out by Iranian-backed terrorist militias," Al-Maliki said.

He added that Saudi Arabia has the "legitimate right to defend itself and its capabilities" and retains "the right to respond at the appropriate time and place".

Saudi Arabia said its air defence systems intercepted and destroyed drones launched from Iraq that were targeting oil facilities in the kingdom's eastern region. In a statement, the Saudi defence ministry alleged the unmanned aerial vehicles were launched by Iran-aligned armed groups operating in Iraq.

Meanwhile, Yemen's Houthis claimed responsibility for the attack, saying they targeted Saudi Aramco oil facilities in the latest escalation between the group and Saudi Arabia.

The Israeli military said it killed Wael al-Ladawi, the head of Hamas's Internal Security Service in central Gaza, in an airstrike on Deir al-Balah on Sunday. According to the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), the strike targeted a vehicle carrying al-Ladawi. Hamas's interior ministry also confirmed his death.

The IDF alleged that al-Ladawi's unit gathered intelligence for senior Hamas leaders, helping them make operational decisions and support the planning and execution of attacks against Israel.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Iran will be the main focus of his upcoming meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump as he departed for Washington on Monday for their first face-to-face talks since the recent conflict involving Iran.

The meeting will be Netanyahu's eighth with Trump since the US president returned to office and their first since February, before Israel and the US launched a joint aerial campaign against Iran.

"In these complex times, you need to act with both great determination and great wisdom. We will discuss all the issues on the agenda, primarily Iran. Of course, our goal is to protect our security and also to expand the circle of peace around us," Netanyahu said

Lebanese President Joseph Aoun has accused Israel of committing a "direct violation of human rights" through its ongoing military operations in southern Lebanon, saying the continued destruction of homes and villages breaches international law.

Speaking after meeting UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Volker Turk, Aoun said Israel's demolition of homes and bulldozing of villages amounted to a "flagrant breach of international laws and customs" and urged the international community to take action to stop the attacks.

He also accused Israel of targeting religious and heritage sites, saying the strikes reflected "premeditated intentions against both people and stone". Aoun added that the sites "are neither military nor host any armed presence".

Iran said on Monday it was still in control of the Strait of Hormuz and not seeking to resume peace talks with the United States, after President Donald Trump halted a two-week bombing campaign that his top brass told him had run its course. Following 13 successive nights of intensifying bombing that provoked Tehran to fire on US bases in response, Trump halted the campaign over the weekend. Iran said it would pause its own attacks for as long as the US pause in bombing endures.

Jordan's armed forces said they intercepted and downed two drones on Monday morning, adding that there were no casualties or material damage. However, the statement reported by Reuters did not identify who launched the drones.

Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesperson, Esmail Baghaei, has said that talks with the United States are currently suspended. He said that while Washington is conveying messages to Tehran through mediators, there is no interaction underway between the two warring nations right now.

Six commercial vessels attempted to sail on an "illegal and unsafe" route in the south of the conflict-hit Strait of Hormuz after turning off their navigation and positioning systems, according to a report by Iran's IRIB state broadcaster cited by Al Jazeera.

One of the ships got into an accident, and the others returned to the Gulf under "decisive Iranian management," IRIB reported.

Citing an official, the Iranian broadcaster further said the incident took place in the early hours of Monday morning after the vessels were provoked by the US military.
