Ferozepur Jhirka Assembly Election Results 2024

Ferozepur Jhirka is one of the 90 assembly constituencies in the Indian state of Haryana. It is also a part of the Gurgaon Lok Sabha constituency. Historically, the constituency has been predominantly influenced by the Shakrulla-Naseem political family.

Ferozepur Jhirka is a town and a historical settlement located in the Ferozepur Jhirka sub-division of the Nuh district in Haryana. Initially, the town was part of the Gurgaon district, but it was incorporated into Nuh district through a gazette notification by the Haryana government on April 4, 2005. Since then, it has been a sub-division of the Nuh district.

The demographic composition of this constituency is predominantly Hindu, with about 80% of the population being Hindu and 20% being Meo Muslims. According to the 2001 Census of India, the estimated population of Ferozepur Jhirka was 17,751, with males constituting 52% and females 48% of the population. The literacy rate in Ferozepur Jhirka stands at an average of 59.5%, with male literacy at 70% and female literacy at 80%. As of 2019, the total number of voters, including general, overseas, proxy, and postal voters, was 146,747.
