Arijit Singh’s retirement from playback singing
Back in January, Arijit surprised the industry by announcing that he would no longer accept new playback offers. “I am not gonna be taking any new assignments as a playback vocalist from now on. I am calling it off. It was a wonderful journey,” he wrote at the time.
The decision sparked widespread debate online, with fans wondering if it signalled a complete exit from music.
