While the defense lawyer argued that the corporator acted out of frustration while addressing a public grievance regarding a pregnant patient and accused a doctor of misbehaviour, the court granted custody to the police. The prosecution had requested custody to investigate the corporator's intentions, emphasising that physical violence against on-duty medical professionals is not justified.
