No political sanyas: Mamata Banerjee vows to fight BJP till the end
Mamata Banerjee attacked the BJP over the Census, welfare payments, Jadavpur University clashes and voter roll revision, while ruling out political retirement and vowing to continue her fight against the party.

Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee on Monday said she would not take political 'sanyas' and would continue her fight until the BJP was pushed into obscurity. In a Facebook Live address, she accused the party of misleading people and said the state's residents had understood the BJP's 'true face' within four months of the change in government.
Banerjee also attacked the BJP over the Census exercise, alleged delay in payments under the Annapurna Bhandar scheme, clashes at Jadavpur University, and the Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls. She alleged that these developments showed a pattern of exclusion and political interference.
Calling the Census exercise a backdoor attempt to enforce the National Register of Citizens, Banerjee said it had been implemented without consulting political parties. She urged people to be careful before signing Census forms and sharing personal data, and warned that doing so could result in their personal savings getting wiped off.
Referring to protests by women in different parts of the state over the alleged delay in disbursal of Annapurna Bhandar financial aid, Banerjee alleged that the BJP government was cutting the number of beneficiaries on the ground of ineligibility. "We had launched Lakshmir Bhandar to make women financially self-sufficient but the BJP is considering religion and race to provide Annapurna Bhandar money. It is violating its pre-poll promise of providing Annapurna Yojana money to all women, and is now cheating them," she alleged.
Amid clashes between ABVP and Left students at Jadavpur University, Banerjee accused the BJP of orchestrating vandalism on the campus. She said, "despite our differences of opinion with some students there, we respect them". On the Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls, she alleged that lakhs of genuine voters had been deleted illegally and said she would move the Supreme Court again, if needed, to seek their inclusion in the voter list.
In her address, Banerjee combined a political attack on the BJP with allegations over the Census, welfare payments, campus violence and voter list revision, while reiterating that she would not retire from politics.
