Actor Dhanush has indicated plans to enter Tamil Nadu politics, following the path of actor Vijay by taking steps to organise his fan associations. Amid speculation over whether Dhanush will launch his own political party or foundation, the AIADMK has extended an invitation, stating it would welcome him if he accepts Edappadi K. Palaniswami as leader. Political leaders noted that any citizen has the democratic right to float a party and contest elections, emphasising that the ultimate decision rests with the people. A party representative highlighted Dhanush's popularity among youth and underprivileged communities, adding that the AIADMK would welcome such prominent figures with open arms.

A physical scuffle broke out among councillors, with leaders resorting to violent brawls, trading blows, and throwing bags at a woman leader. The chaos forced the Delhi Mayor to be escorted out of the House. Two major cybersecurity scares within twenty-four hours have exposed alarming vulnerabilities in key global internet infrastructure. Artificial intelligence uncovered critical pre-authentication remote code execution flaws in PHP, the programming language that powers a vast majority of websites worldwide. The discovery prompted urgent global security warnings, precautionary shutdowns of government websites in France and Finland, and warnings from India's cybersecurity agency, CERT-In. Concurrently, an alarming security lapse was identified in digital certificates issued by Bengaluru-based eMudhra, where eight intermediate certificates had weak cryptographic keys easily recoverable by researchers. In response, technology giants Google and Mozilla moved to block the affected certificates across browsers. Although CERT-In confirmed no malicious exploitation of the compromised keys had been detected, cybersecurity experts urged immediate patch updates and enhanced firewall measures.

A controversy has erupted over visual artist Rehan Vadra's exhibition at Delhi's Bikaner House after around 70 photographs, including depictions of recent protests and the Indian tricolour, were taken down by venue management prior to the opening. Management stated the images breached booking guidelines against hosting political conversations and confirmed the remaining works continue to be displayed. Rehan stated that art knows no political boundary and maintained he avoided slogans. His parents, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and Robert Vadra, backed him and questioned the removal of images featuring the national flag, while the venue defended its action as adhering strictly to institutional policy.
