IAF Combat Drills Near Pakistan Border, Veer Guardian & Tarang Shakti Scheduled

Aam Aadmi Party leader Satyendar Jain has been granted bail by Delhi's Rouse Avenue Court on a bail bond of two lakh rupees in a case investigated by the Anti-Corruption Branch. Jain's counsel argued that the arrest took place 27 months after the FIR was registered, despite full cooperation and the evidence being documentary in nature. The ACB opposed the plea, citing the nascent stage of the probe and multiple pending cases against him. However, the court granted relief, while clarity on further conditions awaits the official order copy.

The Indian Air Force is preparing to conduct major air combat exercises near the Pakistan border in September. The scheduled drills include the India-Japan Veer Guardian Exercise and Exercise Tarang Shakti 2026.
