The Election Commission of India faced questions from India Today regarding controversies surrounding modifications to Form 6 and the deletion of voter names in Goa. India Today questioned the poll body on why an audit was not conducted and why new questions were added to Form 6 for new voters, including requirements related to parents' inclusion in rolls, despite objections. The Election Commission stated that the electoral registration platform gives deletion rights to officials via Form 7 without a rollback provision, leading to issues in Goa where 97 names were omitted from the final list. However, officials offered no response to queries concerning Form 6 modifications.

Delhi Police has produced the three accused in the Delhi gang rape case before Saket Court and is seeking custody remand to recreate the crime scene and establish the sequence of events. The accused allegedly posed as police personnel and targeted a minor girl in a dark area. Police recovered weapons, including a gun and a knife, along with the clothes worn by the accused. A first-year master's student of Hindu College in Delhi was allegedly stalked, verbally abused, and subjected to an abduction attempt by occupants of an SUV in Mukherjee Nagar. The victim stated that men inside a white Tata Safari passed lewd comments near Hakikat Park and attempted to drag her and her friend into the vehicle. She also raised serious allegations of police inaction, stating she was made to shuttle between multiple police stations over jurisdictional claims before an FIR was registered. Meanwhile, Delhi University Students' Union representatives intervened, urging senior police officials to take immediate action against the accused.

An Enforcement Directorate team faced violent protests while conducting searches at the Greater Mohali Area Development Authority office in Mohali. A vehicle utilised by the central probe agency was attacked and damaged outside the GMADA office, resulting in deflated tyres and broken window panes. The incident took place during an agitation by Aam Aadmi Party workers against ongoing searches linked to allegations of money laundering, due waivers, and change-of-land-use violations. Protesters reportedly breached police barricades and entered the premises before local police led by Senior Superintendent of Police Varun Sharma dispersed the gathering. An unnamed protester accused the central government and the probe agency of running a political vendetta ahead of upcoming elections, alleging that external miscreants carried out the vandalism. Meanwhile, a habeas corpus petition was filed in the High Court claiming illegal detention of civic body officials during the searches.
