The Ministry of Home Affairs has designated the Pakistan-based Shehzad Bhatti network as a terrorist organisation under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act. According to the government, the network led by gangster and terror handler Shehzad Bhatti is involved in cross-border smuggling of arms, explosives, narcotics, and recruiting Indian youth for terror activities, including IED attacks and targeted killings.
