Twist and turns in Kochi models' death case

In the latest development of the Kochi models' death case, the Crime Branch probing the November 1 road accident has received information that the models were followed by a few attendees of the party in an Audi car and had video footage to support this.

Saiju Thankachan, who drove the Audi, allegedly has links to drug peddlers in Kochi. He allegedly works for a group peddling chemical drugs from Bengaluru to Kochi.

Investigators have received hints that the deceased models, Ansi Kabeer and Anjana Shajan, left the party at No 18 Hotel after seeing the same car on its premises, in a suspected escape bid.

Meanwhile, according to an anonymous message received by police, the drinks consumed at the party at No. 18 hotel by the models were allegedly spiked. To confirm the message, the police needed to recover the missing CCTV visuals from the "No 18" hotel, where the party took place.
