'We Will Be The Right-Wing Marker': Itamar Ben-Gvir On Forming Government
Otzma Yehudit leader Itamar Ben-Gvir addressed reporters and supporters at a polling station, urging citizens of Israel to cast their ballots on election day. He warned that if the opposition takes power, it would constitute a Mansour Abbas government. Stating that his party holds the ability to shape the coalition, he asserted, 'we will be the right-wing marker of this government.' Addressing questions about seeking the role of Defence Minister, Ben-Gvir said he was not currently conducting coalition negotiations, but remarked that holding the post would be 'good for the soldiers, good for the people of Israel.'
