Cocktail 2 box office Day 11: Shahid's film surpasses O'Romeo's lifetime haul
Cocktail 2 continued its steady box office run on Day 11, surpassing the lifetime India nett collection of O'Romeo. Despite a slowdown in its second week, Shahid Kapoor's romantic drama has crossed Rs 84 crore nett in India and Rs 129 crore worldwide.

Actor Shahid Kapoor's Cocktail 2 has continued its theatrical run despite a slowdown in collections. The Homi Adajania directorial, which released in theatres on June 19, registered a dip on its second Monday but has still managed to outperform Shahid's O'Romeo.
On Day 11, Cocktail 2 collected Rs 1.75 crore nett across 3,873 shows, taking its total India nett collections to Rs 84.95 crore. The film's India gross collections have now reached Rs 101.32 crore.
The romantic drama also added Rs 0.50 crore from overseas markets on its 11th day, pushing its total overseas gross to Rs 28.10 crore. With this, the film's worldwide gross collection stands at Rs 129.42 crore.
Cocktail 2 has already surpassed the lifetime India nett collection of Shahid Kapoor's O'Romeo, which released on February 13 and earned Rs 72.99 crore nett in India. The film had collected Rs 24.45 crore overseas and finished its theatrical run with a worldwide gross of Rs 110.81 crore.

Cocktail 2 opened on a strong note at the box office, collecting Rs 13.50 crore on Friday, followed by Rs 16.25 crore on Saturday and Rs 17.75 crore on Sunday. Its opening weekend total crossed Rs 47 crore, raising expectations for a sustained run in theatres.
However, collections started tapering off during the weekdays. The film earned Rs 6.75 crore on both Monday and Tuesday, followed by Rs 5.25 crore on Wednesday and Rs 4.25 crore on Thursday. It concluded its first week with a healthy India nett collection of Rs 70.50 crore.
The second week has seen limited momentum. The film collected Rs 4 crore on its second Friday, followed by Rs 4.25 crore on Saturday and Rs 4.40 crore on Sunday. Instead of witnessing the usual weekend growth, the romantic drama recorded only marginal gains before slipping again on Monday.
The film showed a marginal improvement on its second Sunday. On Day 10, Cocktail 2 collected Rs 4.40 crore nett in India, taking its total India nett collection to Rs 83.15 crore. Overseas, the film earned Rs 0.85 crore on the day, pushing its overseas gross to Rs 27.60 crore. With this, the film's India gross collection stands at Rs 99.22 crore, while its worldwide gross has reached Rs 126.82 crore.
