Actor Shivaleeka Oberoi tears up over husband's Drishyam 3 end credit note

Actor Shivaleeka Oberoi got emotional while watching her husband-filmmaker Abhishek Pathak’s latest directorial, Drishyam 3: The Conclusion, in a theatre. The actor shared a video capturing her reaction after seeing a special thank-you note from Abhishek in the film’s end credits, where he acknowledged her support throughout his journey.

In a video shared on Instagram, Shivaleeka was visibly emotional as she watched the end credits roll on the big screen. The Khuda Hafiz actor revealed that seeing her name mentioned by Abhishek left her in tears. Sharing the video, she wrote, “I teared up when I saw this on the big screen. And judging by the messages I’ve been getting, I’m clearly not the only one who thought this was pretty special (sic).”

The actor then went on to reflect on everything they went through while Abhishek worked on Drishyam 3. She wrote, “When you started this journey, there was so much that life was about to bring our way. There were sacrifices, difficult days, time apart, and so many moments that tested us. But through it all, I believed in you, in your vision and in what you were creating.”

The actor added that seeing audiences celebrate the film made all those difficult moments worthwhile. “Today, watching the world celebrate what you created makes every bit of it feel worth it. And sometimes I look at Aarika and think... how lucky is she going to feel one day knowing her father directed Drishyam. So incredibly proud to be your wife!” she wrote.

Drishyam 3: The Conclusion has been enjoying a strong run at the box office. The Ajay Devgn-starrer crossed the Rs 175-crore mark in three days and is now eyeing the Rs 200 crore milestone. Abhishek Pathak has also received praise for bringing the thriller to a satisfying conclusion. Globally, the film’s run has crossed the Rs 270-crore mark.

The emotional moment comes months after Abhishek and Shivaleeka welcomed their first child, a girl named Aarika. In April, the couple announced the arrival of their daughter with a heartfelt post. “In a moment, our hearts found a whole new meaning! With immense love and gratitude, we welcome our precious baby girl. Blessed parents — Shivaleeka & Abhishek,” they wrote.

Drishyam 3 released in theatres on October 2.
