Three Attackers Held in Kota; Devendra Fadnavis Vows Strict Action
Three accused persons who fled following a firing incident have been apprehended in Kota, Rajasthan, through a coordinated overnight operation between the Mumbai Police and Rajasthan Police. The suspects boarded a northbound train from Vasai towards Surat and subsequently travelled on the Pune-Jaipur Express before being intercepted at Kota railway station. Mumbai Police tracked the suspects using intelligence and closed-circuit television camera footage, alerting the Rajasthan Police. Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis stated that strict action will be taken against the accused, confirming that the Mumbai Police will take custody of the suspects after completing necessary formalities and bring them back to Mumbai for interrogation. In Mumbai, forensic teams examined actor Tiger Shroff's bullet-marked vehicle at the Santacruz Police Station to gather evidence. While no weapons were initially recovered from the suspects, police investigations continue to identify any further conspirators involved in the attack.
