He noted that every step taken towards ending the war energises peace, whereas actions prolonging it act against humanity. In addition to his bilateral talks with the Russian President, Prime Minister Modi also engaged in key bilateral meetings in Bishkek, including discussions with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian amid escalating regional strikes in West Asia.

The leaders held their official meeting before sharing the private ride. This reflects earlier instances of car diplomacy, including their 2025 meeting in Tianjin, China, where both leaders held discussions inside a car for over 40 minutes, and President Putin's December 2025 visit to India, where they drove together to 7 Lok Kalyan Marg.
