Yokohama expands Geolandar X-CV range for crossover and SUVs
Yokohama India has expanded its Geolandar X-CV range for crossover and premium SUVs, introducing new 16-inch sizes and offering enhanced grip, comfort, durability and high-speed stability.

Yokohama India has expanded its premium Geolandar X-CV tyre range in India, extending the offering to crossover SUVs with 16-inch wheels. Originally developed for luxury SUVs with wheel sizes above 18 inches, the Geolandar X-CV will now be available in 32 sizes spanning 16 to 20 inches, making it the company's most extensive dedicated tyre range for crossover and premium SUVs in India.
The Geolandar X-CV has been engineered to offer a balance of wet-road grip, comfort, durability and high-speed stability. It features Yokohama's Micro Silica technology, which is designed to improve wet-road traction while reducing rolling resistance. Its asymmetric tread pattern uses specially designed inner and outer shoulder blocks to enhance steering response, wet-road performance and cornering stability.
Four wide circumferential grooves help evacuate water for improved wet braking and hydroplaning resistance, while 2D-3D combination sipes are designed to enhance wet traction and promote even wear. Yokohama's 5-Pitch Variation Technology also helps reduce pattern noise for a quieter cabin.
The tyre gets reinforced two-ply sidewalls and a Full Nylon Cover to improve durability and high-speed stability. It is also EV-compatible, with its construction designed to handle the higher weight and instant torque of electric SUVs.
The Geolandar X-CV will be available from August 2026 through Yokohama Club Network outlets and select authorised dealers. Yokohama India is also offering no-cost EMI as an introductory offer.
